The VIA5002 is an advanced 2-channel power amplifier which combines high power density with superb audio performance in a lightweight, cost-effective package. Delivering 2 x 2500 watts into 4 ohms or 2 x 1500 watts into 8 ohms, it ideal for powering subwoofers in installations and portable sound systems.

The loudspeaker shall be a self-powered subwoofer consisting of an 18” reflex-loaded, long-excursion, low frequency transducer. The on-axis frequency response shall be 42Hz-150kHz +/- 3dB and the loudspeaker shall produce a maximum SPL of 137dB peak at 1 metre.
The loudspeaker shall incorporate a Class D amplifier which shall deliver 2000W peak output to the transducer. Onboard DSP shall perform crossover and limiter functions. Selection of operating modes , including cardioid, shall be effected by a rotary encoder and display screen on the rear panel. Bluetooth control and streaming shall be available as on option. The power supply shall employ Power Factor Correction and operate from 100-240V, 50-60Hz AC.
Audio input connectors shall be female XLR type combined with a ¼” jack. The AC power connector shall be a 3-pin IEC connector.
The loudspeaker enclosure shall be constructed from multi-laminate plywood with a black textured coating and be fitted with a pole-mount socket, grab handles and M10 flying inserts. The driver shall be protected by a perforated steel grille.
Dimensions (W x H x D) shall be 662mm x 536mm x 640mm (26.1in x 21.1in x 25.2in). Weight shall be 44kg (97lbs).
